Hank Sourcing

Privacy Policy

What we collect

Without an account: anonymous usage — searches you run, pages visited, coarse technical data (IP address, browser type). We use it to fix search quality and to see whether Hank is useful. With an account: the profile you enter (name, shop, contacts), your saved parts, search history, messages to vendors, and — if you're a vendor — the inventory you upload.

What stays private

If your inventory upload includes cost/buy-price or supplier columns, those values are stored only in your private account book and are never published, never shown in search results, and never shared with other users. Public listings carry your selling price only. Your search history and saved parts are visible only to you (and to the site operator for support and quality purposes).

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your contact details with third parties except the service providers needed to run Hank (hosting; email delivery via Resend). Voice feedback is transcribed in your browser — audio never leaves your device.

Email

We send account email (welcome, invites) and occasional service updates. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe option — reply "unsubscribe" or use the link, and we stop.

Cookies

One session cookie keeps you signed in. No advertising trackers.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your listings and saved data in the portal, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data entirely: hello@hanksourcing.com.
